Those individuals pursuing the (ISC)2 CSSLP certification must have at least 4 years of cumulative and full-time work experience as a Software Development Lifecycle Professional. They must have practical experience in at least one of the eight domains of the CSSLP Common Book of Knowledge. Those candidates who do not possess this work experience can proceed to take the prerequisite exam and earn the Associate of (ISC)2 certification.
